Hats off to another amazing golfing day at Widder Station Golf and Country Club! Although the weather didn't cooperate, the Kaeden Brown Foundation along with our special guest Angelo from the Fish'n Canada Show, held its 2nd Annual Golf Event. 184 golfers teed it up in the pouring rain, but as the day progressed, thankfully the weather got better, and so did the golf. No playoff holes were needed this year as team Boyd, attacked the coarse in the afternoon and carded a 14 under par to be the low score of the day. Congratulations Brad Boyd, Rusty Colman, Tom Pembleton and Brad Vance, great score on a tough golfing day. Once again, everyone was treated to a great dinner while we thanked our sponsors and awarded our $5000 scholarship. Congratulations Briar Wight, well deserved! Before the auction got under way, over half of the audience joined us in a game of "Kaeden's Crazy 8's" .... a little twist on the old fashion 50/50 draw. As last year, we had a great lot of live auction items on the block, some of the highlights included a fishing trip for 4 with Fish'n Canada to Lodge 88 on Esnagi Lake, a great BBQ party package, LCD TV package, Leaf's Tickets, Wine Pairing Dinner party, rounds of golf all over Ontario and of coarse, the Kaeden Surprise package. At the end of the night, when all was said and done, the Kaeden Brown Foundation along with your help, raised over $56,000! We would like to thank everyone that played a part in making this tournament a great success and look forward to see everyone next year.
