KBF Scholarships
One of the goals of our foundation is to help deserving students that, in our minds, possess the same characteristics
and zest for life that Kaeden did. With that in mind, we created a scholarship at the North Lambton Secorday School
(NLSS) that will help students continue their post secondary education. The scholarship is a one time $5000.00 award,
that must be used towards tuition and books at any post secondary institution. To be eligible, students must complete an
application form, write an essay about themselves, tell us why they would make perfect candidate for this scholarship" and
get 2 letters of recommendation. This scholarship award isn't so much about scholastic ability, as it is about, a person
that embodies the characteristics and spirit of Kaeden. His love of the outdoors, his sense of adventure and the fact
that you just couldn't help but love this "little man" ... that's the spirit of Kaeden and that's what we're looking for!
With all the tremendous support we have received from individuals in our community and all our corporate friends, we
found ourselves in a position that we could actually present TWO scholarships this year. The following are the two well
deserving recipients of the FIRST Kaeden Brown Foundation Scholarships.
Congratulations Brittnee and Celine! You were exactly what we were hoping for.
